My favorite pieces are the ones of Satan having a good time. An Eldorado translated is a "singing cafe," which were apparently very popular in late 1800s France. The scene shows casual merriment. The composition so full and dense it's hard to believe the original was a diorama created on a table-top (this illustration is based on a stereoscopic image created by an artist named Habert around 1864).

This piece was hand-drawn using Micron pens and colored with alcohol ink markers. Each archival-quality giclée print is produced locally by a small business right here in Western Massachusetts. This artwork is available exclusively as a full-size 9 × 12-inch reproduction of the original.
